3. Media Access and File Uploads

Naikas Reminder App allows users to attach images or document files (for example, driver's licenses, ID cards, or receipts) to specific reminders.

When doing so, users manually select files through Android's system photo picker or a similar user-initiated interface.
The App does not automatically scan, collect, or access any photos or videos stored on your device.

All attached files remain stored locally on your device unless you choose to back them up using an optional cloud-storage provider (such as Google Drive).

Naikas Reminder App therefore does not require or use continuous permissions such as READ_MEDIA_IMAGES or READ_MEDIA_VIDEO.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • All reminders and uploaded files are stored locally by default.
  • Optional backups (if enabled) are securely stored through your linked cloud service, following their respective privacy policies.
  • We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or data loss.

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your information. We may share limited data only when necessary to:

  • Provide core services (e.g., analytics or optional backups)
  • Comply with legal obligations or law-enforcement requests
  • Support a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, with user data protected under the same privacy terms

You can:

  • Edit or delete reminders at any time within the app
  • Disable notifications from your device settings
  • Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data

Naikas Reminder App is not designed for children under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us to remove their data.
